March 13th

Writer: CaraCara

Hazel brought us some 'lucky jam' today, and it turned out to be quite lucky.

Azrael, shodding his sweater as soon as he left the house, gets Hal to carry it for him, who then passes it on to Ezra, who, distracted by the charming and chatty couple, leaves it on the bus (to Azrael's greatest of greatest great dismay). Feeling ambitious after the group races down the path at High Rocks, we have a pow-pow and decide to walk all the way home with a treat at the Food Carts. There are a couple of cold wet miserable moments when the freezing wind whips into our faces, but the skies clear up, we warm up at the Food Carts, we share sushi, and the skies are sunny again. As we head up the hill, the #32 stops for a couple of people in need at a non-designated stop, and we hurry up to it, and guess what?! It's Athena, our favorite bus driver, with Azrael's favorite sweater.

Thanks for the lucky jam, Hazel.

So what was your favorite part of the day?

Ezra: all of it!

Hal: going to the Clackamas River!

Opal: when we were having sushi

Honey: we we went potty with Azrael

Hazel: poopy-cat

Azrael: riding the bus and getting my sweater back

Cara: all of it. Proud of these adventurers for powering through when the going gets tough, and finding joy all along the way.
