April 22nd

Today was Weslee's Rivendell Birthday (3) and the theme was his favorite color: blue. Rivendell went all-in for blue. He's not a halfway sort of kind of guy, but an all-in, 100% kind of guy. Weslee likes animals. Even if they are not blue. He always checks on Yurtle and the fish, and is the first to see the cats. He likes Spiderman. A lot! He'll often choose a 'toy-of-the-day' and stick with it. Today it was the red frog with blue feet. He was happy to see the puzzle of himself, and worked on it several times. We are lucky to have him as a friend, and we look forward to watching him grow and develop this next year, and to hear what he has to say.

Wishing him the happiest of all Rivendell birthdays. And many thanks to his friends who let Weslee call the shots without jealousy and really wanted him to have a great birthday.

(Walking with a rope is not so bad. At least not with the awesome Tuesday crew!)
