At Rivendell, art is a part of every day. During free choice times, art supplies are openly available, and there is at least one teacher-led creative activity. Art strives to be open-ended. It's the process, not the product we value at Rivendell.
Imaginative Play

Imaginative Play is central to the development of a preschoolers mind. It's where children explore ideas, develop friendships, and learn how to interact socially. And it's fun!
Outdoor Time
In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous-Aristotle
At Rivendell, we go outside everyday, rain, wind, or snow. We observe. We collect. We explore. We rescue worms. We don't stomp on ants. We climb trees. We get messy. We take risks. And we stay safe.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment where children can explore, discover, create and play. And laugh, dance, sing, cry and be their amazing selves. (And go on lots of field trips!)
